Matters can be designated as a Limited Access Matters. Only those users who are direct matter participants added will have access to the matter. Users who generally have matter access, such as delegates or those with access to all matters in an organizational unit, do not have access to a Limited Access Mater. Company system administrators will have access to all Limited Access Matters.
To create a Limited Access Matter (Company System Administrators only):
1. Begin the procedure to create a matter.
2. For the option Does this matter belong to a Matter Group, select No.
3. Select the Limited Access Matter check box.
4. Continue to configure the new matter.
To designate an existing matter as a Limited Access Matter:
1. Navigate to the Matter Profile page for the relevant matter.
2. On the Actions menu, click Matter Options.
3.Select the Limited Access Matter check box.
