There are three common reasons why a matter is appearing on an accruals report: 1) accruals are not required on the matter; 2) the firm requirement to enter accruals has been disabled on the firm's profile; 3) the matter is part of a matter group and the matter group configuration is set so that accruals are generated at the matter group level. If the matter is being accrued for in the matter group, the matter will not appear on the accruals report but the accruals from the matter will appear in the matter group.
