There are three common reasons accruals are not appearing on a matter: 1) accruals are not required on the matter; 2) the firm requirement to enter accruals has been disabled on the firm's profile; 3) the matter is part of a matter group and the matter group configuration is set so that accruals are generated at the matter group level. If instead the firm name is visible when looking at accruals within a matter, but that firm has blank accrual data, then that firm has failed to submit accruals on the matter.
