A matter administrator can enter the Matter Group Options within the matter group. If both the Where is data entered field is set to 'Departmental budgets / accruals are entered in this Matter Group only' and the Generate an accrual for this matter group? field is be set to 'Yes' then accruals are generated at the matter group level. If the Where is data entered field is set to 'Departmental budgets / accruals are entered in each Matter', then accruals will be generated at the matter level if accruals are required within the individual matter.
