To rename an AP route, click System Setup (gear icon) and under the AP Data Exchange Setup section, click the AP Route Configuration link. Next, select the AP Route you to edit. In Step 3A: General Options find the AP Route Name field, clear the current contents and type in the new AP Route name. Once done, hover over the Actions menu on the right and click Save & Close.

In the Updated UI, to rename an AP route, mouse over the Navigation Panel and click Settings. Under the Accounting and A/P Settings section, click the AP Route Configuration link. Next, select the AP Route you to edit. In Step 3A: General Options find the AP Route Name field, clear the current contents and type in the new AP Route name. Once done, click Save & Close.
