In the Updated UI, users with a system role of company system administrator, can follow these steps:
- Mouse over the Navigation Panel and click Settings
- Under Accounting and A/P Settings click Accounting Code Setup.
- You will see space for 3 or 10 accounting code labels (depending on whether you are using simple or enhanced mode accounting codes); click into any label and name it as you wish.
- Check the Active box adjacent to the label if you want to use it in your matters, invoices, and pre-configured accounting code allocations.
- Check the Required box if you want invoices to always have certain accounting codes filled in prior to final approval.
- Click Save & Close.
